My standard book cover design service includes: ​ A design consultation by email or phone 4-6 custom cover concepts Unlimited revision rounds A final cover design, front back and spine (paperback only) An ebook cover file ​ All my services are customisable, so if you only want an ebook cover, or if you want a hardback or dust jacket as well, we'll simply adjust the quote accordingly! ​ The files I provide will be designed to be compatible with your printer of choice, whether it be Amazon KDP, Ingram Spark, Lulu, or an independent printer local to you. You'll be able to just upload the file and press send!

The first step is to send me your manuscript. I'll then send you a few questions by email to answer about your vision for your book, and for the cover, or we can have a short video call to discuss it. Once I have gathered enough information, I will create 4-6 custom cover concepts, each with unique composition, imagary and typography. I'll send them to you for your review. Based on your feedback I'll develop a final cover design, and we'll have unlimited rounds of back and forth to get it perfect. Finally I will create the full cover, front, back and spine, and send you all the files you'll need to upload to your chosen printers.

Exact timings depend on the project and the author, but I estimate between 10 - 14 days for the cover design, and a further 3-4 days for the formatting based on a simple 50,000 fiction book. If you have a tight schedule just get in touch and I'll see if I can offer a rush service!

You don't need to have a completely finished manuscript to start the book cover design process (although it does need to be complete before we start formatting and typsetting!). So you can already get in touch and get the ball rolling. My recommendation would be to get started around 3 months in advance of your planned publication date, so that you can use the imagary to market the book release online.
